City councillor suffers heart attack shoveling snow


According to Ottawa Citizen the winter storm dumped up to 30 cm of snow. Coun. Jeff Leiper had a heart attack from shoveling the snow in the morning. He is recovering at the University of Ottawa Heart Institute.


According to an update from Global News, a 19-year-old woman threw a chair off a balcony, landing close to a highway. She was arrested, then released on $2,000 bail. Due to this incident, she has to live with her mother, no contact with the people associated with the video and banned from the condo where it happened.
