Farm Boy sold to Sobeys

After an $800-million deal, Farm Boy stores have now been sold to Sobeys, another grocery chain. The two executives of both stores made a point on Monday saying Farm Boy stores won’t be changing. The sale will allow Farm Boy to plan expand in southwestern Ontario, especially Toronto.

Researchers looking for a great white shark mating site off Nova Scotia have tagged their first shark in Canadian waters. The male shark, named Nova, that was tagged off the south shore of Nova Scotia. The research team started that their work in Atlantic Canada last week shed more light on the migratory patterns of the mysterious creatures.

The Yemen humanitarian crisis could escalate to a widespread famine soon. The U.N. humanitarian chief warned Friday that the fight against famine is being lost in Yemen, which is facing the world’s worst humanitarian crisis with 75 per cent of its 29 million people in need of assistance. The conflict in Yemen began with a 2014 takeover of the capital, Sanaa, by Houthi Shiite rebels.
