Algonquin student deceased in Fallowfield crash

The college has set it's flag to half-mast to honour and mourn the loss of those in the yesterday's OC Transpo/VIA Rail accident.

The college has set its flag to half-mast at all three campuses to honour the loss of Kyle Nash and others in yesterday’s OC Transpo/VIA Rail accident.

It has been confirmed that an Algonquin student was killed in Wednesday’s OC Transpo/VIA Rail crash at Woodroffe and Fallowfield.

Kyle Nash, 21, was a student in the collaborative Carleton University/Algonquin College Bachelor of Information Technology program.

On Sept. 19, Kyle’s name was officially released by Ottawa Police to the media.

More to come.
